India Palace, Meopham, hoping to win Dartford and Gravesham Business Awards
00:00, 10 August 2014
The family-owned India Palace restaurant in Meopham has been operating since September 1995.
Situated near the station, the menu is extensive with an interesting selection of tandoori, balti, seafood, lamb and poultry dishes and there are usually some good special offers.
It has also been well-recommended over a number of years by customers on the review website TripAdvisor.
Manager Noor Uddin said: “We have been providing excellent customer service and food to the local area over a long period of time. Ever since we opened we have won numerous awards from different organisations.
“In spite of operating in a highly competitive restaurant area, plans are afoot to expand the business into other parts of Kent in the next five years.”
The India Palace has entered this year’s Dartford and Gravesham Business Awards, which are supported by the Messenger.
Each entrant gets a free profile in the Messenger newspaper and online. This year’s award sponsors are Dartford council, Gravesham council, Barnes Roffe, Kent Business School (University of Kent), the KM Group (Dartford Messenger and Gravesend Messenger), Lloyds Bank, Thomson Snell and Passmore, Edinburgh House and the University of Greenwich.
The deadline for entries has now closed. For information about previous winners, visit www.dgbawards.co.uk.
