About 200 young dancers came together for an Irish dancing competition, or “feis” as they are traditionally known.
The feis was organised by St John’s Irish Dancers, a Gravesend based dance school, and took place at Ebbsfleet Academy last Saturday.
St John’s Irish Dancers are run by Louise Coyne and her mum Tricia, and are known as a fun-based school which aims to “keep dancing traditional, enjoyable and a hobby”.

Louise became All England champion at the age of 11 and qualified for the World Championships when she was 15.
Founded in 2005, the school has gone on to produce multiple champions, and its dancers regularly feature in the top five places in competitions.
