Train services through a town have been blocked due a trespasser on the line.
Southeastern trains were unable to travel via Gravesend due to the incident which was reported at about 7.30pm.
In a post on X - formerly Twitter - Southeastern said services will not be able to travel through the town until the trespasser is apprehended.
It added: “Police are on site and working to apprehend the trespasser.
“You may use your ticket on: Fastrack Bus B - Dartford, Gravesend & Ebbsfleet and Arriva Bus 480 - Dartford, Gravesend via Swanscombe.”
At 8.50pm the company updated passengers saying: “Power has now been switched back on and trains can now run through the affected area but may be delayed, altered or cancelled.
“Replacement buses are operating between Gillingham and Gravesend while we work to resume normal service.”
British Transport Police and Southeastern have been contacted for a comment.
