The deputy mayoress of Gravesham has died.
Margaret Lambert, wife of deputy mayor Cllr William Lambert, passed away on Tuesday morning.
Mrs Lambert was a borough councillor representing Riverview ward from May 1987 to April 1995.
She is pictured here with her husband at the Christmas lights switch-on at the EllenorLions Hospice, in Northfleet, in December.
Mayor of Gravesham Cllr Bronwen McGarrity said: "This is tremendously sad news.
"Margaret will be missed for her cheerfulness and her involvement in so many community activities. Our thoughts at this time are with Bill, their children and grandchildren."
