Two charged after stabbing in Northfleet

Two men have been charged after a teenager was stabbed in Northfleet.
Police were called to Haynes Road on Sunday following reports of a disturbance.
A 17-year-old was flown to a London hospital in a stable condition after being stabbed.
Dilwar Hussain, 24, of Nelson Road, Northfleet, was arrested at around 6pm on the same day and has since been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
A 17-year-old boy from Northfleet, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, has also been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article in a public place. They are both due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court, by virtual court, on July 7.
As part of the investigation a 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, both from Gravesend, were arrested on July 6 on suspicion of affray. The investigation is ongoing.
