A student was forced to hand over his jewellery and mobile phone in a daylight robbery in Gravesend.
The 21-year-old was waiting for a relative in his green BMW car outside a shop in Arthur Street when two men struck.
They threatened him and forcibly removed his jewellery before demanding his mobile last Thursday afternoon.
The pair ran off along Clifton Grove and into Trafalgar Road after the robbery, between 1.35pm and 1.50pm.
The men are described as black, in their 20s, about 6ft and with dark brown hair. One was wearing a grey hooded top and dark trousers and the other a dark tracksuit and a black woollen hat.
PC Simon Williams said: “This took place during what would have been a busy time in Gravesend town centre – it is possible that passers-by witnessed what happened.
