A van driver has been arrested after allegedly deliberately ramming into other vehicles on a busy A-road.
Police were called to the A2 near Gravesend after reports the van had collided with other drivers on the London-bound carriageway, near the junction for Gravesend Central.
The incident, which took place on Tuesday, September 17 at 9.50am, involved a white Ford Transit Connect van, which then continued onto the M25.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers attended and a 38-year-old man from Rochester was arrested near the Dartford River Crossing.
“The vehicle was seized and the suspect is currently bailed, pending further enquiries.”
Police are now urging any witnesses, or other drivers who were affected, to contact them.
They are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a silver Transit van, which was also damaged but who officers have not yet been able to contact.
Anyone with information, or who has dashcam footage, should call the Kent Police appeal line on 01474 366149, quoting reference 17-0312.
