Kent heads to the polls today as voters up and down the county cast their ballot.
Polling booths across Dartford and Gravesham will open from 7am for residents to have their say on who should be their next MP.
Counting of the votes will begin shortly after the polls close at 10pm.
In Gravesham, 83 people will be responsible for counting up the cast ballots at Cascades Leisure Centre in Thong Lane, Gravesend with a result estimated between 4am and 5am.
Acting returning officer for the count is chief executive of Gravesham Council, David Hughes, for which this will be his last general election before he steps down from his post next year.
The Dartford result will be tallied up from 67 polling stations and announced at Fairfield Leisure Centre in Lowfield Street around 3am.
