We were being warned to take extra care on Kent's roads as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning as heavy rain and snow hit the county.
The alert was due to be in force until 10am but it was updated at about 9am when forecasters said it no longer included Kent.
The warning covered most of north and west Kent, including Dartford, Gravesend, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
Experts warned spray and surface water on the roads may make journey times longer, bus and train services may be affected and downpours may be briefly heavy in places, reducing visibility and leading to slippery surfaces.
Flood alerts have also been issued for parts of the county following heavy rain yesterday and overnight.
There have already been several accidents on the roads which may have been caused by the bad weather.
Many people woke up to a dusting of snow, particularly in higher areas of the county, such as Detling Hill, near Maidstone, as well as parts of Ashford.
