Gravesend's church opening times over the Christmas period

The borough's churches will be busy over the coming days as people visit to celebrate the Christmas season.
Here's details of some of the services on offer.
St Botolph's Church, The Hill, Northfleet: On Sunday, parish Eucharist for the fourth Sunday in advent is at 10am.
Carols with the Salvation Army: This annual service returns to St Boltolph's on Saturday at 7pm and all are welcome. On Christmas Eve, Christmas Starts Here is at 4pm. Midnight Mass starts at 11.30pm. On Christmas morning, Eucharist will be celebrated at 10am.
St Mark’s Church, Rosherville: On Sunday, family Eucharist is at 10am. Crib, carols and cake is on Christmas Eve at 4pm. Midnight Mass is at 11.15pm. On Christmas Day, Eucharist is at 10am.
All Saints Church, Perry Street: On Sunday, Angelus and prayers are at 9.15am followed at 10am with parish mass and Sunday School. At 4pm there is a service of nine lessons and carols. On Christmas Eve, a service is at 4pm and festival parish mass is on Christmas Day at 10am.
St George's Church: On Sunday, morning worship is at 10am. On Christmas Eve, midnight holy communion is at 11pm. Christmas family communion is on Christmas Day at 10am.
St Aidan's Church: On Friday, December 21, and December 28, prayers (BCP) are at 9am. On Sunday, a service of nine lessons with carols and Holy Communion is at 10am. On Christmas Eve, carols will be sung outside Tesco's Valley Drive in aid of the ellenor hospice. At 4pm there is a crib and Christingle service. Midnight mass is at 11.30pm. On Christmas Day, family Holy Communion is at 10am.
St Mary the Virgin Church, Chalk: On Sunday, December 23, Traditional Holy Communion is at 8.30am. An open house Service is at 10.30am. A candlelit carol service is at 6pm. On Christmas Eve, family carols and nativity is at 4pm. Midnight Communion is at 11pm. On Christmas Day at 10.30am, there will be a Christmas celebration with Holy Communion.
Milton Road Methodist Church: On Sunday, December 23, morning worship is at 11am. On Christmas Eve, Holy Communion will be celebrated at 11am. On Christmas Day, a celebration service is at 11am.
Deneholm Methodist Church and Community Centre: On Sunday morning, a service of Holy Communion is at 11am led by Rev Tony Graff. Café Church: Come and join in community carols at 4pm.
Swanscombe Methodist Church: On Sunday, December 23, morning worship at 10.45am will be led by Ian Packham.
St Margaret's Church, Ifield: On Sunday, morning worship is at 9.30am. On Christmas Eve the First Communion of Christmas is at 9.30pm.
Church of the Holy Family: On Sunday, morning worship is at 11am. A crib and Christingle service is at 4pm.
St Paul’s United Reformed Church, Singlewell Road, Gravesend: On Sunday, December 23, there is no morning service. Carols by Candlelight is at 5pm. On Christmas Day, a service at 10.30am will be led by Guy Morfett.
United Reformed Church, Cuxton: On Sunday, December 23, morning worship is at 10.30am led by Margaret Haggis. On Christmas morning a service at 10.30am will be led by Janet Greaves.
Christ Church (Near Echo Square): On Sunday, December 23, Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8.30am and 10.30am. On Christmas Eve there are crib services and 3pm and 5pm when the children are invited to dress up as Nativity characters. Midnight mass is a 11.30pm. On Christmas Day there is said Eucharist at 8am and a Christmas celebration at 10am.
Emmanuel Baptist Church, Windmill Street: On Sunday, December 23, reflective morning worship is at 9.30am and at 11am an All Age Worship Service both with the theme "In the beginning". Refreshments will be served between services.
At 6pm there is a service of carols by candlelight with carols by The Community Choir. A Christmas Day Celebration is at 10am.
Riverview Baptist Church: On Sunday, December 23, all age worship with Holy Communion is in the Christopher Centre at 10.30am when Charlotte Darlington will lead and David Ware will preach on the theme "Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son" from Matthew 1:18-24. On Christmas Day, morning worship is at 10.30am led by John Richards who will also preach on "The Birth of Jesus" from Luke 2:1-20.
