A woman has been charged with drink-driving after a crash in a quiet village.

Kent Police was called at 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 16, to a report of a collision involving two cars.

One of the cars was parked and unoccupied at the time, in Lyndhurst Way, Istead Rise.

Officers arrested Lesley Ward, 47, of Lyndhurst Way, Istead Rise, on suspicion of drink-driving at the scene.

She has been bailed to appear before Medway magistrates on December 6, 2016.
