Woman taken to hospital after being hit by car in near Mayfield Grammar School, Gravesend

A woman was taken to hospital after she was hit by a car outside a school.
Police were called to Pelham Road, Gravesend, near Mayfield Grammar, at 3:30pm yesterday, after a woman in her 50s was involved in a collision with a vehicle.
She was conscious after the incident and taken to Medway Maritime Hospital by South East Coast Ambulance Service.
Spokesperson for Kent Police, Vicki Foster, said: “Officers attended along with SECAmb and a woman in her 50’s was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries.
“Officers are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
SECAmb confirmed there was a teenage girl involved in the collision, but she was not taken to hospital.
Mayfield Grammar School has been approached for further information.
