Man, 57, arrested on suspicion of rape in Overcliffe, Gravesend

A man has been arrested after a woman was raped after accepting a lift from a man in the early hours of the morning.
The incident is happened in the London Road area of Overcliffe, in Gravesend, on Tuesday morning after victim accepted a lift from the offender in Campbell Road at around 1.30am.
At around 2.50am, on the same morning, a 57-year-old man, also from the town, was arrested on suspicion of rape.
He remains in custody as inquiries continue.
Police spokesman James Walker said: "Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed a white Ford Transit being driven between Campbell Road and Rural Vale between 1am and 2am on the same date."
