The Boxing Day derby match between Ebbsfleet United and Dartford is off because of Covid-19.
It’s the latest match to be postponed because of the virus, caused by a member of the Dartford squad who has tested positive. The entire squad is now isolating.
Dartford and Ebbsfleet are due to meet at Princes Park on January 2 and at present that game is on.
Fleet, who were due to host the Boxing Day game at their Kuflink Stadium, posted a tweet saying: “We wish all concerned at Dartford the very best and look forward to Jan 2nd.”
The Boxing Day schedule in the county had already been hit in recent days with Tonbridge Angels calling off their games against Maidstone United and Dartford following a positive test in the Angels squad.
League 1 Gillingham are also without a game after Boxing Day opponents Peterborough United had a player test positive.
Wednesday night’s FA Trophy match between Maidstone United and Frome Town is also off after the opponents pulled out of the match as they didn’t want to travel into a Tier 4 area.
