Ebbsfleet United boss Steve Brown is in the market for two wingers

Transfer business gathered pace for Ebbsfleet this week and manager Steve Brown is now chasing two wingers ahead of pre-season.
Having brought defender Osei Sankofa, midfielder Michael Corcoran and striker Michael Thalassitis to the club in the last seven days, Brown’s focus has turned to bolstering the Fleet midfield.
He said: “I don’t require any more strikers. I’m looking to strengthen other positions, in the wide areas.
“There are a couple on trial at League clubs and they want to exhaust that avenue first before they start looking at non-league football.
“Players that have options are the ones who are most difficult to sign. Certain players want to come to Ebbsfleet because of the press surrounding us and I have to make sure they’re coming for the right reasons.
“Let’s not forget, this is an unusual summer. I’m trying to get 18 players in where other sides are trying to fill four or five gaps.
“People can be picky and there are (the same) four or five clubs in Conference South vying for most players.”
