Dhami all set for title defence
00:00, 18 October 2001
KENT boxer Harry Dhami has set a date for the second defence of his British Welterweight title against Neil Sinclair. The Gravesend-based fighter will face the Irishman at the St Andrew's Sports Club in Glasgow on Monday, November 19.
Dhami has had to contend with personal problems and a contract dispute but can't wait to get back into the ring. He said: "Boxing has had to take a little bit of a back seat but now everything has been sorted out I'm raring to go. I've just been ticking over for the last couple of months but now I've got five weeks to get down to some serious training."
Dhami hasn't fought since he beat Spencer McCracken on points last November.
