Jenson Button at Brands Hatch for DTM German Touring Cars

The German Touring Car Series, DTM, makes its annual visit to Brands Hatch this weekend.
Gary Paffett, Jamie Green and Andy Priaulx will be flying the British flag in the main event while support action comes from FIA European F3, BRDC F4, Lotus Cup UK and Elise Trophy.
In addition to the on-track action, 2009 Formula 1 champion Jenson Button will be heading a list of racing celebrities attending the event.
The race weekend at Brands is the first of four trips abroad for DTM this season and follows hot on the heels of the opening round at Hockenheimring.
BMW drivers Augusto Farfus and Dirk Werner took the top two positions and they will be eager for more this weekend.
“98 laps round a circuit that is just under two kilometres long is going to be quite a challenge, and what you would call a busy race,” said Farfus.
Second-placed man Werner is also expecting a close battle.
He said: “It won’t be easy, as qualifying is extremely close on the short circuit. Every thousandth of a second counts. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.”
