Leo’s Lions Boxing Club in Northfleet host much-anticipated inaugural home show at the Elite Venue

Leo’s Lions ABC hosted their much-anticipated inaugural home show at the Elite Venue, delivering an action-packed night of boxing last Saturday.
With 19 contests on the card, the Northfleet-based club’s fighters displayed exceptional skill, heart and sportsmanship.
Kicking off the event, George Ackleton and Enry Keys took part in two skills bouts where both exhibited impressive technique and craftsmanship.
The highlight of the night came in Ronny Heaver’s electrifying victory over Junior Gray-Horwood from Double J Boxing.
In a fierce three-round showdown, both demonstrated relentless energy, as Heaver emerged victorious by a majority decision and secured the title of Fight of the Night.
Solley Collings delivered a memorable and skilful display to secure a well-deserved triumph.
With sharp technique and relentless determination, Collings demonstrated the spirit of the club.
Other notable performances came from Riley Barrass, who fought with tremendous heart in a close contest but narrowly missed out on a win, and Charlie Hills. Hills made a strong debut despite facing a skilled opponent.
Tyler Brown also fought valiantly, although his opponent from Joe’s Boxing Academy took the victory.
One of the most anticipated bouts featured Keaton Young, who showed why he holds a national title, delivering an outstanding display which earned him the Best Boxer of the Show vote.
The final match-up saw two-time national champion Frankie Hills put up a determined fight against a tough competitor, only narrowly losing.
In total, the club claimed victory in three of their seven official bouts, but every fighter demonstrated courage and dedication, making it a night to remember.
Leo’s Lions extended their heartfelt thanks to the boxers, visiting clubs, officials and volunteers whose support and dedication made the event possible.
