Daryl McMahon will take charge of Ebbsfleet's FA Trophy tie against Hendon on Saturday.
The 31-year-old has been appointed caretaker manager following the sacking of Steve Brown on Wednesday.
McMahon, the Fleet captain and academy manager, will be supported by assistant manager Steve Gritt, first-team coach David Jupp and goalkeeping coach Ron Hillyard.
Fleet, fourth in Vanarama Conference South, go into the game at The PHB Stadium as favourites against a Hendon side sitting third in the Ryman League Premier Division.
Meanwhile, the search for Brown's successor is ongoing.
A statement on the Ebbsfleet website said: "The club’s board of directors are keen to keep the club moving forward as smoothly as possible; as such, they are presently considering all options in regards to the vacant managerial position and will make further statements as matters progress."
