Ebbsfleet United striker Matty Godden confident manager Steve Brown can lead the club to promotion

Under-fire Ebbsfleet manager Steve Brown still has the full support of his players.
Sections of the Fleet support have called for Brown to be sacked and the 42-year-old is under pressure from the club’s board to deliver promotion.
But Brown still has plenty of allies in the dressing room.
Striker Matty Godden, whose hat-trick against Farnborough lifted Ebbsfleet to second in Vanarama Conference South, insists the former Charlton defender is the right man for the job.
Godden said: "We see a lot more of what other people don’t see behind the scenes and how good a man Browny is.
"You don’t find many (managers) like him.
"He just tells you to go out there, play and relax. It’s a joy to play under him.
"It’s not nice when you see people giving him so much stick but that’s something you have to deal with as a footballer. You get it at every level and it’s up to us to put that right.
"Whether we come in 0-0 at half-time or whatever, we’ll stick together.
"That’s something we’ll always do. It’s something he’s got drilled into us, that whatever happens, we stick together and work hard."
