Former Gillingham forward Antonio German has signed for Ebbsfleet United.
The 25-year-old has been training with Fleet for several weeks but they have only just received international clearance for him to play.
German's last club was Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League, where he had two spells.
Ebbsfleet manager Daryl McMahon said: "He's done well and his registration has gone through today. He'll be available for Saturday.
"He's a forward, he can play in behind or out wide, he's got good pace and good power.
"He probably needs a bit of a home at the minute.
"He's had a lot of different clubs and he needs to put some roots down.
"He's a very good age and needs to get his head down now and show he's a good player."
German joined Gills from Brenford for an undisclosed fee at the start of the 2013/14 season after a brief loan spell the season before, when he scored once in seven appearances.
German was signed by Martin Allen but was then under the management of Peter Taylor, who would later take him out to India with the Blasters.
Starting just one league game for Gills after signing permanently, with 18 substitute appearances, German netted two goals for the club in 26 league games overall.
German, who started his career at QPR, also counts Northampton and Aldershot among his former clubs.
He could make his Fleet debut in the FA Cup at East Thurrock on Saturday.
