10:15, 24 April 2017

Ebbsfleet will honour their former captain and assistant manager Paul McCarthy with a memorial match against Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Spurs will visit Stonebridge Road on Saturday, July 15 and all gate receipts, after expenses, will be donated to McCarthy's family, who have been invited to the game.

McCarthy died suddenly in February at the age of just 45.

Admission will be £10 for adults, £8 concessions, £5 for 12-to-16-year-olds and free for under-12s.

Spurs agreed to being a team to Stonebridge Road as part of the deal that took former Fleet academy player Shilow Tracey to the Premier League club in January 2016.

Ebbsfleet have also confirmed they will host Football League sides Cambridge United on July 18 and AFC Wimbledon on July 29.
