Ford: Time to show our character

GRAVESEND & Northfleet manager Andy Ford has vowed that his players will pick themselves up and bounce back at relegation-threatened Harrow on Saturday following the huge disappointment of Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat by leaders Canvey.

With seven games remaining in the Ryman League, Premier Division, title race and an inferior goal difference to Canvey, the Fleet cannot afford further slip-ups if they are to make their crucial game in hand tell.

"We have the strength of character to bounce back," said Ford. "There are no easy games left and though Harrow are at the wrong end of the table they will be no pushovers."
