Ford: We need points on the board
00:00, 24 January 2003
ANDY FORD admits Gravesend & Northfleet's Nationwide Conference game against fellow strugglers Stevenage at Stonebridge Road on Saturday is a six-pointer.
But Ford goes into the game in confident mood after his side's improved display in the 2-1 defeat against Margate in midweek.
"I would have probably accepted a point against Margate and three on Saturday," he said.
"We've obviously lost the first point, but we have got to get going and get some points on the board."
Skipper Jimmy Jackson and defender Craig Wilkins will have fitness tests ahead of the game.
