Ebbsfleet United goalkeeper Brandon Hall has joined Lewes on loan.

The 21-year-old hasn't played since January 4 and Fleet will hope he regains match sharpness during his time with the Ryman League Premier Division club.

Hall was handed a chance in the Ebbsfleet starting XI following a red card for Preston Edwards away to Hayes & Yeading on September 13.

Although the club successfully appealed against Edwards' one-match suspension, manager Steve Brown turned to Hall, who started 22 consecutive matches, keeping eight clean sheets.

Hall's form earned him an England C call-up and he made his international debut for the non-league select XI against Estonia's under-23 side in November.

He kept his place in the Fleet team when Brown was sacked and Jamie Day took over but was sent off in the 5-1 home defeat to Basingstoke on December 28.

Edwards, who had been struggling with a shoulder injury, was fit again by the time Hall served his suspension and the 25-year-old has started the last seven games, keeping Hall on the bench.

Hall could make his Lewes debut at Peacehaven & Teslcombe on Saturday.

His loan runs until March 14, on which day the Rooks face Maidstone United at the Gallagher Stadium.
