Northfleet’s Brett Lidsey must wait a bit longer to begin the Nurburgring Endurance Series as last weekend’s race was postponed because of the weather.
Snowfall and low temperatures rendered the track at Nürburgring Nordschleife unsafe.
This race was due to be the first of a nine-race series but will have to be rearranged.
Lidsey secured a podium position alongside his partner, the Russian Ivan Berets, in his debut season in the championship last year, finishing second in the six-hour fifth round in August in the BMW M240i.
The field – consisting of more than 140 cars – now look ahead to April 17 when the next race of the 2021 NLS calendar is scheduled.
