After four tough fights against strong opponents, Greenfield won the British ICO 58kg title in K1 Kickboxing and Kickboxing.

Gunner had two fights against hard opponents and won both, which saw her also claim the ICO British titles in K1 Kickboxing and Kickboxing, at 52kg, the trio not returning home until after 11pm.

Coach Leigh Haworth, who runs Star Kickboxing/Boxing alongside son Paul, said: “They have both managed, in the last two months, to win two European titles, as well as area fights.

“This brings a haul of five British titles and six European titles in two months for the club.”

The titles follow Georgia Courtenay’s triumph at Cannock, when she won the ISKA British Kickboxing title against York’s Marisha Christie.

Star are based at the Apex Business Park. For more information on the club call Leigh on 07970 688007 or search for Star Kickboxing on Facebook.
