KEH Sports are completing their takeover of Ebbsfleet United and are set to announce ex-Charlton Athletic defender Steve Brown as manager

Ebbsfleet can finally start preparing for life in Conference South with their new Kuwaiti owners set to complete their takeover of the club on Thursday.
Almost three weeks since their offer to buy the Fleet was accepted by members of MyFootballClub, KEH Sports Ltd (KSL) have now conducted the required due diligence.
Led by former Charlton Athletic chief executive Peter Varney, KSL have promised a £100,000 transfer kitty for next season.
With another ex-Charlton man, Steve Brown, expected to succeed Liam Daish as Fleet manager in the next few days, the winds of change are now starting to blow through Stonebridge Road.
Mr Varney said: "It’s a huge one because everything’s being turned on its head. The timescale is important because we have to put a squad together and we’ve got no pre-season friendlies agreed. The new manager has to be announced and that’s notwithstanding things like kit and sponsors.
"It’s a big challenge because only one team goes up from Conference South automatically. When you get so many players changed, it’s hard at any level of football. We want to have a competitive side but this is a tough league."
