Ebbsfleet defender Kelvin Langmead has joined Kidderminster Harriers on a season-long loan.

The 30-year-old was one of several players brought to the club by Jamie Day in January, joining from Northampton on the same day as Matt Fish arrived from Gillingham.

Langmead, a player with vast Football League experience, made 14 appearances for the Fleet before injury meant he missed the last few games of the season.

He played alongside various players in different defensive systems but none of them seemed to work as Ebbsfleet leaked goals and drifted out of play-off contention in Vanarama Conference South.

Langmead becomes the second Fleet player this week to step up to the division above after striker Tyrone Marsh joined Vanarama National League side Torquay United on a one-year deal.

Fleet boss Daryl McMahon's options at centre-half are Tom Bonner, Anthony Acheampong, Kenny Clark and Lloyd Harrington.
