Daryl McMahon will have to loan out some of his Ebbsfleet players next season because their wages are too high to attract a buyer.

The Fleet boss added former Whitehawk midfielder John Paul Kissock to his squad this week and more arrivals are expected – as well as departures.

McMahon said: "The lads who leave will be on loan – because of the wages. I don’t think they’re going to leave the club permanently.

"I want to work with a smaller squad, 20 players, because then everyone knows they’ll get some game time.

"I’m not going to spend money on people I don’t think are worth it. I want people with the right attitude and desire to play for this club.

"It’s a good club and I want players who want to build with the club.

"I want the right person as well as the right player."
