Ebbsfleet have signed former Gillingham midfielder Jack Payne.
The 25-year-old helped Blackpool win promotion to League 1 last season and they had an option for another year on his contract but decided to let him go.
Gravesend-born Payne is Fleet's second summer signing after striker Danny Mills from Whitehawk.
Payne was a Gills player between 2008 and 2013, played more than 100 games before joining Peterborough who were then in the Championship.
He was a regular for Posh in League 1 for the following two seasons but was loaned out to Leyton Orient in September 2015 and spent the rest of that campaign at Brisbane Road.
Payne headed north to Blackpool last summer and made 44 appearances for the Tangerines, including their play-off final win against Exeter at Wembley last month.
