GRAVESEND & Northfleet look set to finally complete their FA Umbro Trophy third round game with Histon when the two sides meet in the replay at Stonebridge Road tonight.
The original away game was postponed twice due to the bad weather before eventually going ahead last week, only for the match to finish as a surprise 1-1 draw. The Ryman League Premier Division leaders know this competition isn't the priority this season but Fleet boss Andy Ford insists the players will be desperate to progress through to the next round.
He admitted: "You could say we underestimated them in the first game but they aren't a bad side. We are better prepared for this game."
Gravesend are likely to field a strong side with only Craig Wilkins doubtful with a virus, although recent signings Simon Parker and Warren Williams are cup-tied. The winners of this tie will play hosts to Cambridge City or Hendon in the fourth round, with those two sides meeting in their replay tomorrow night.
