Air ambulance called to help person with suspected cardiac arrest in Reculver

An air ambulance was called to help a woman suffering a suspected cardiac arrest in a car park.
South East Coast Ambulance Service was called to Reculver Towers car park in Reculver, near Herne Bay, shortly before 1.20pm today, responding with two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and the air ambulance.
Police were also called.

An ambulance spokesman said: "At 1.19pm today, we sent a response car and two ambulances to a suspected cardiac arrest in Reculver car park.
"A patient was resuscitated and taken to the QEQM Hospital in Margate for further treatment."
Police said officers were called at 1.25pm to assist ambulance crews with the medical incident.
A spokesman added: "One woman was taken to hospital for further treatment.
"No criminal offences were reported."
