Armed police in Mickleburgh Hill, Herne Bay, searching for man with weapon

Armed police are searching for a man thought to be in possession of a weapon after a woman was allegedly attacked.
They were called to Mickleburgh Hill in Herne Bay at 9.40am after receiving a report of a disturbance.
The woman suffered injuries, but they are not believed to be serious.
A man has now been arrested - as shocked neighbours describe hearing screams. Read the full update here.
A police spokesman said: "We were called to a property in Mickleburgh Hill, Herne Bay, at 9.40am following a report of a disturbance.
"Firearms officers are at the scene where a woman reported being assaulted by a man and has suffered injuries, not believed to be serious.
"Enquiries remain ongoing to locate the suspect, who it is believed may be in possession of a weapon."
Five cars are stationed in the middle of the road, preventing traffic from passing.
A dog unit is also at the scene, according to witnesses.
