Armed police called to property in Thornden Wood Road, Herne Bay, after 'gunshots heard'

Armed officers were called to a property after a member of the public reported hearing gunshots.
A police helicopter was also scrambled following the disturbance in Thornden Wood Road, Herne Bay.
A person had reported seeing three men enter the building before hearing the blasts.
But the armed officers were unable to locate any weapons when searching the premises.
A police spokesman told KentOnline: “Police are investigating after being called to Thornden Wood Road, Herne Bay, at 12.48pm on Tuesday.
“A person reported seeing three men enter a property on the site and stated they heard gunshots.
“Armed officers responded and conducted a thorough search of the site.
“All was in order, no weapons were located and no one reported any incidents to attending officers.”
