Teenager arrested after boy attacked by group outside Herne Bay train station

A boy was left requiring hospital treatment after being attacked by three teenagers outside Herne Bay train station.
A 14-year-old has since been arrested on suspicion of assault and police are eager for more evidence to help with their investigation.
The victim was walking with his friend from the station in the direction of the town centre, at about 8pm, when he was followed by a group of three.
He was grabbed and attacked by the group in Station Road, between the station and the junction with Spenser Road.
The victim was left with injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment following the assault on Saturday, April 24.
Now, officers are appealing for any witnesses or those with CCTV or dashcame footage to come forward.
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and later released pending further enquiries.
