Boy hit by car on school run in Greenhill Road, Herne Bay

A schoolboy has been rushed to hospital after he was hit by a car this morning.
Two ambulances and three police cars were called to Greenhill Road, Herne Bay, after the boy was struck at about 8.15am.
Witnesses reported seeing him being treated at the roadside before he was taken away in an ambulance with its lights on and sirens sounding.
It is thought he is a pupil at Herne Bay High School.
Police say his injuries are not believed to be serious.
