Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in a bungalow believed to have started when a candle was left unattended.

Emergency services attended the scene in Wood View, Hoath shortly before 11pm last night.

Firefighters wearing oxygen tanks used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. No one is thought to have been hurt.
