Car driver in fatal crash is named

A WOMAN who died when the car she was driving was involved in a four-vehicle pile-up on the Old Thanet Way at Chestfield, near Whitstable, last week has been identified by police.
She was 50-year-old Janice McKenzie, of Lancaster Gardens, Beltinge, near Herne Bay.
A van driver seriously injured in the collison has now been released from the QEQM Hospital at Margate.
A renewed appeal has been made by police for witnesses to the crash that happened at about 7.10pm on Monday October 16.
