Car windows smashed in Herne Bay, Whitstable and Canterbury by vandals wielding catapults

Police are hunting catapult-wielding vandals who smashed the windows of at least ten cars across the district.
Officers are investigating a spate of criminal damage in Herne Bay, Whitstable and Canterbury overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.
In Spenser Road, Herne Bay, a Ford people carrier and a VW people carrier both had their rear windows shattered while a Hyundai car had both its rear and front windscreens smashed.
In Whitstable, a VW Golf and a Kia Picanto in Belmont Road, a VW High Up in Borstal Hill, a Ford Transit in Pean Hill, a VW Golf in Canterbury Road and an Audi A3 in Oxford Street all suffered damage to windscreens.
A VW Toureg in Whitstable Road, Canterbury, was also vandalised.
Detectives are looking for witnesses who may have information, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously with a catapult.
