Four fire engines and up to 20 firefighters were sent to tackle a blaze at a former nursing home this afternoon.
Crews were called to the fire in what was once St Benedict's residential home in St George's Terrace, Herne Bay.
The building, now derelict, has not been used to care for elderly people since 2014.
It is known as somewhere that is often used by squatters.
