Police appeal after cyclist found with serious injuries between Sturry and Broomfield, near Herne Bay

A cyclist found seriously injured by the roadside has sparked an investigation into whether any other vehicles were involved.
The man was found near where Maypole Road becomes Ford Hill, between Sturry and Broomfield, near Herne Bay.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Investigating officers are now working to establish how the man came by his injuries.
The man was found at about 4.40am on Friday, July 21.
A spokesman for the force said: “As part of their inquiries, police would like to speak to the driver of a small white van, who is a potential witness.
“The vehicle, described as a Citroën Berlingo-type van, is believed to have been in the area shortly before the man was found injured.”
