Disney movie crews have been spotted filming on the Kent coast.
Camera teams were seen at work in Reculver, Herne Bay, this afternoon, stirring up excitement among residents.
A source has told KentOnline the filming is linked to the upcoming live action remake of The Little Mermaid, which is set to star Halle Bailey as Ariel, but this has not been confirmed.
Disney booked out half the car park at HatHats coffee shop in Reculver while they carried out test filming.
Shop manager Jen Barrell said: "There were three big trucks, lots of cars, and they even had their own toilets with them.
"They were over the other side of Reculver Towers, and took quite a lot of equipment that way, and some wooden ladders.
"We've provided them with cake and lots of coffee today. They were a really nice bunch - they were really polite."
A spokesman for Kent Film Office says the crews had been testing a special lens that is used for animation and live action films, but could not confirm which project this was for."
It is understood they were using the site because it has water and steps, and is similar to an overseas location they will be using at a later date.
