An animal rescue centre is appealing for help after a dog was abandoned at a boarding kennels.
New Hope Animal Rescue in Herne Bay was contacted after about the forgotten pooch who had been left at a kennels by his owner six months ago.
A post on the charity's Facebook page said: "He went in at eight months old and he is now 14 months old.
"The kennels have tried a number of times to contact the owner and sent a final letter a month ago and the owner has not responded. He has been stuck there and now has nowhere to go."
New Hope says it is completely full so can't take on the dog. They are appealing for another rescue charity who will be able to look after him.
After assessing him they said he is "a nice lad" who is very excitable but showed no malice.
They added: "Can any rescue please give him a chance? No home offers at this stage please."
New Hope rescues animals from pounds and vets, as well as injured stray animals that can't find help elsewhere.
