Herne Bay Co-op burgled

A door was smashed and cigarettes stolen during a late-night raid on a Co-op.
Police were called to the scene in Mortimer Street, Herne Bay, early this morning.
Three people were seen leaving the area at about 1.20am in a dark coloured car travelling towards Beacon Hill.
The shop's entrance in the High Street, which was smashed during the burglary, has been cordoned off.
Officers have urged anyone with information to call them on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 12-0078, as soon as possible.
