Driver admits causing death crash

A 36-year-old motorist who admitted causing a woman’s death by dangerous driving has been remanded in custody while reports are prepared.
George Forbes, of Douglas Road, Herne Bay, appeared at Canterbury Crown Court.
He admitted killing Janice McKenzie on the A2990 Old Thanet Way on October 16 last year.
Two other adults, a boy and a baby, were also hurt in the crash.
Forbes will be sentenced on August 3. A bail application was refused.
