Woman, 22, released on bail after crash in Hunters Forstal Road, Herne Bay

A young woman has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after a teenage girl was knocked down by a car.
Emergency crews were called to Hunters Forstal Road, Broomfield, after the 17-year-old was hit at about 6pm last night.
She suffered injuries to her head, face and pelvis and was treated at the scene for more than an hour by an air ambulance doctor.
At about 7.30pm she was taken to Ashford’s William Harvey Hospital by road.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released on bail until May 26.
After leaving Broomfield, the air ambulance landed in Herne Bay’s Memorial Park to attend an emergency at a private address.
