Alleged drug dealer from Herne Bay arrested in Ashford

A suspected drug dealer has been arrested after he was pulled over by police on a dual carriageway.
Officers stopped a car in Ashford on the A2070 between Brenzett and Hamstreet at about 9.30pm on Monday.
They seized suspected class B drugs, a mobile phone and some cash from the car and a property.
A 20-year-old from Herne Bay was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled drug with intent to supply.
The man has been released pending further investigation.
