Flat fire in Herne Bay high street

Fire crews tackled a blaze in Herne Bay high street this morning.
Three fire engines raced to flat in the town centre just before 2am.
They remained at the scene for more than two hours as they extinguished the third storey fire and cleared the building of smoke.
The kitchen blaze is thought to have been started accidentally, but the cause is not yet known.
No one was injured.
