A new steakhouse has opened its doors today after it replaced a popular chain restaurant.
Miller & Carter has welcomed its first customers into the restaurant after the popular Talmead Harvester, just off the Thanet Way in Herne Bay, shut in September.
The Mitchell & Butlers-owned steakhouse specialises in serving up 30-day aged beef.
Its menus vary by restaurant, but focus on steak - including ribeye, fillet, sirloin, and chateaubriand - as well as burgers, salads, and fish dishes.
Now, the only Harvester left in east Kent is The Bybrook Barn in Kennington, near Ashford.
Harvester - also owned by Mitchell & Butlers - revealed in August it was set to close its Herne Bay eatery.
Back in April, Thanet's last Harvester - the David Copperfield Harvester in Broadstairs - also closed down.
Miller & Carter is open seven days a week, Sunday to Wednesday from 9am to 10pm, and Thursday to Saturday from 9am to 11pm.
